Cost Analyst | Bank | 6-month Contract

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Analyst to support a technology cost review and governance initiative. This role will focus on cost reconciliation, CAM (Cost Allocation Model) validation, charging accuracy, and monthly cost governance across technology spend.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyze and reconcile monthly technology costs, identifying variances, anomalies, and key cost drivers.
• Review and validate CAM allocations to ensure costs are charged in line with approved methodologies.
• Validate invoices, POs, contracts, consumption reports, and approval documentation.
• Ensure costs are allocated to the correct cost centres, entities, and projects.
• Establish and manage a monthly cost review process, including reporting, action tracking, and governance controls.
• Produce management reports highlighting cost movements, CAM changes, risks, and outstanding actions.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in Cost Management, Financial Control, FP&A, Performance Management, or Finance Operations
• Excellent reconciliation and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of cost allocation and chargeback methodologies (CAM).
• Advanced Excel skills; Power Query is advantageous.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage complex datasets.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
